Ashworth College is proud to sponsor the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Ashworth strives to support our local Atlanta community. Being a leading online school also means taking on offline responsibilities.
Since 2006, Ashworth College’s administration and staff have regularly participated in the food drive by giving non-perishable food items to the local community. These donations are then circulated around the Atlanta Community Food Bank’s 600-plus partner organizations, helping the neighborhoods’ families. In 2011, Ashworth College’s efforts yielded 800 pounds of food and products. Ashworth Food Drive exceeded this total during the 2012 drive.
“As an active member of the local community, Ashworth is committed to doing its part in helping to raise awareness for the issues of hunger that impacts local families,” said Rob Klapper, President of Ashworth College. “These families deserve all the tools necessary to succeed and sometimes that simply includes assistance with food and grocery items.”
Year round, Ashworth College Online supports a number of causes including Habitat for Humanity, Children’s Miracle Network, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, and March of Dimes into their charity efforts.
